Enter: Pop-up Short Story Competition
DEADLINE: 22 november 2023
November is traditionally the month for storytelling. Delyth and I will present £50 in banknotes to the author of the best original story explaining why two right shoes are hung in the fence at the beginning of the path to Grantchester on our Wellbeing Dog visit to College on November 27th.
It should take between 5 and 10 minutes to read aloud, and be in my inbox (vjw28@) by breakfast time on St. Cecilia’s Day (November 22nd).
The judge’s - my - decision will be final. The competition is only open to Emma MCR and ECSU members. Stories can either explain the shoes’ presence on the fence , or explore the consequences of them being there, or both. They should be written in current, standard UK English, please.
Yours - Gin Warren.
